Joseph Isaac Jarrett, 77, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at his home.Joseph Isaac Jarrett was born on December 25, 1948, in Jefferson, Georgia, to the late, Annie Hope Jarrett and John D. Jarrett. He was raised in Athens, Georgia, and later made his home in Danielsville. Affectionately known as "Ike" by those closest to him, Joseph was a dedicated and hardworking man. He retired from DuPont and later started his own business, where he became known for his strong work ethic, determination, and unwavering commitment to providing for his family.Ike found joy in life's simple pleasures.

 He loved gardening, was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, and treasured his role as "Papa" to his grandchildren. He could often be found tinkering and fixing things, tending to his vegetable garden, or riding his old Snapper mower while caring for his beloved lawn. He will be remembered for his kindness, his generous spirit, and the deep love he shared with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Jarrett; his children, Michael Jarrett (Jamie), Scott Jarrett (Dawn), Kelly Jarrett Lasseter (Bryan), and Karlee Jarrett Kirby (Joshua); and his cherished grandchildren, Jarrett Lasseter, Mallory Lasseter, Karaleigh Kirby, and Wiley Kirby. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Jarrett Maddox and additional loved ones, Aidan Jarrett and Makayla O'Kelley.Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jessie Lee Jarrett and David Dwayne Jarrett.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Franklin Springs Baptist Church. Pastor Jason Dove will be officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the University Cancer Blood Center, Dr. Charles Bodine, Katelyn Gillespie, PA, UCBC nursing staff and St. Mary's Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time.
